During the PADI Deep Adventure Dive, the PADI Data Carrier should be used to demonstrate the changes in colour while diving as they are printed in order on the slate for the students use. 

When I was at school we were taught the pneumonic Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain to remember the colours of the rainbow - this can be a good trick to show your students during their PADI Adventure Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or PADI Deep Diver Specialty course which all integrate the PADI Deep Adventure Dive.
